Update October 17, 2022: The Shelflife x ADD TO CAL (and some apparel!) is releasing this week on October 21. To cop pairs and the accompanying clothing range, head to SNKRS and the Shelflife webstore. Those located in South Africa have a chance to cop pairs at the brand’s in-store locations on October 20.
The ADD TO CAL continues its extraordinary run in 2022 as one of the surprise sneaker stories this year, the much-maligned silhouette finding cultural relevance in a flurry of high-profile collaborations (beginning with Virgil Abloh in 2021).
The latest brand to hook up with Michael Jordan’s sophomore sneaker is South African-based streetwear retailer, Shelflife.
Rendering the ADD TO CAL in ‘White’, ‘Sail’, ‘Light Bone’ and ‘Bright Mandarin’, the summer-ready rendition is manufactured in a mixed material blend. The collaboration is given further personality by the ‘TEAM ONLY’ text emblazoned across the inside of the tongues as well as along the sockliner.
