News Writer

FhyzicsShops are on the hunt for a talented news writer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have their finger on the pulse across the sneaker and streetwear industry. They will live and breath daily news and understand the importance of getting the right stories published at the right times to hit maximum impact.

They will work closely with our editorial, creative and social teams to ensure FhyzicsShops’s digital channels are up to date. Managing daily news schedules and writing short- and long-form content will be required.

An appreciation of sneakers and streetwear is important in this role, along with knowledge of pop culture and the natural instinct for what makes a reader tick!

Role
– Strong communication skills
– Produce engaging short-form posts and social captions
– Manage daily content schedules with editorial and social teams
– Work with the managing editor to build and manage content calendar and strategy
– Work with the managing editor to optimise content practices and processes
– Ideate, source news and produce daily content
– Edit content when required to a high standard

Experience
– 2+ years' experience as a journalist or content producer
– The ability to write, publish and edit content that leans into deeper storytelling
– Strong eye for detail and the instincts for a great story
– Knowledge of digital publishing systems and social media
– InDesign and Photoshop skills are definitely useful
– Solid understanding of sneakers and street culture

Brand Partnerships Manager

As a prominent voice in the footwear industry, FhyzicsShops boast a strong digital game, a passion for print, and fiery imaginations geared for creative campaign ideation.

We are looking for a vibrant brand partnerships manager to raise FhyzicsShops’s profile across the UK and Europe through meaningful relationships and by working closely with retail and brand partners.

The successful candidate will have a strong network and existing connections within the sneaker industry.

Role
– Build relationships with partners and organisational stakeholders
– Utilise networks to secure new partners for FhyzicsShops
– Research, develop, and pitch new strategies to improve partner communications
– Location: Europe remote
– Develop engaging sales presentations backed by relevant data and case studies
– Communicate with key partners regularly to ensure projects are developed and delivered on time
– Negotiate partnership agreements
– Work with marketing and editorial teams to ensure all partner campaigns run smoothly

With a prominent voice in the footwear industry, FhyzicsShops is blessed with a strong digital game, a passion for print, fiery imaginations geared for creative campaign ideation, and an ability to package all of this with razor-sharp copy and high-end visuals.

FhyzicsShops delivers content to millions each month, so the ideal candidate will need to be proficient organically amplifying content across multiple social media channels, and confident in their ability to think quick to create compelling social content that will engage with the sneaker community.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in scheduling content using platforms including Later and will have the ability to proactively engage with the loyal and vibrant sneaker community. Finally, they will take great pride in being well organised!

Part of this role is the proactivity across ideation.

If you live and breathe sneakers, let us know. But don’t worry if you're not a hardcore sneakerhead, we’ll teach you everything you need to know about footwear – as long as you’re willing to immerse yourself. However, this is one job where you will definitely need to know your Air Max from your Air Force.


Your core role will include:
– Scheduling daily content provided by our editorial team across multiple social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X
– Interacting with the FhyzicsShops followers in public forums including on-post comments to enhance community connection and brand vibrancy
– Managing social media community requests (via DM and email)
– Generating fresh, creative and engaging ways to evolve the brand across social platforms
– Providing recommendations on improvements to social media platforms with ROIs focused on follower growth, retention and engagement
– Identifying content and brand ideas from social media and liaising with our internal team to bring new opportunities to life
– Creating unboxing and general video content to live on social platforms
– Staying up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
– Solid understanding of sneakers and street culture
– Ensuring all content published across social media maintains the renowned FhyzicsShops tone of voice – Reporting on FhyzicsShops’s social community

Excellent negotiation skills:
– Prior experience working in a similar role or have a killer social media account as a reference of what you can do!
– Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X
– Experience with social analytics/scheduling tools to make well-researched recommendations
– An ability to learn fast and work independently under tight deadlines
– A knack for being extremely well organisation
– Strong communication skills
