Updated February 22, 2024: Having teased their latest collaboration during Paris Fashion Week last year, Miu Miu and New Balance have finally dropped their collaborative 530. The low-profile sneaker sees the usually chunky running silhouette transformed with a much flatter midsole, and iterations arrive in both full suede and mesh and suede constructions. The collection is available to buy over at Miu Miu Founded back in 2002.

Update February 12, 2024: New Balance Japan's Marketing Manager Tsuyoshi 'YOSHI' Ikedo has given a detailed look at the white version of Miu Miu's NB530. The pair arrives in a monochromatic design elevated with a suede and mesh construction, as well as co-branding. Miu Miu have just unveiled their next New Balance collaboration during the label’s Paris Fashion Week 2024 showcase, and it’s a 530 that’s perfectly imperfect.

This won’t be the first time the Prada now, but pricing will set you back a cool $1120 New Balance, thats perfectly imperfect NB574 multiple times between 2021 and 2023. Although the internet went wild over the $1K sneakers, the duo’s latest is arguably their best work yet. The imperfect dorkiness of the sneaker plays into the geek-sheikh themes Miu Miu is known for while still having the perfect construction expected from a high-fashion brand.

The GR New Balance 530 is chunky, mostly thanks to its massive sole unit, but Miuccia’s namesake has stripped it down completely, instead opting for an ultra-slim rubber sole. Multiple brown colourways were on display, hosting vintage-esque builds that utilise the usual upper of the 530 albeit with premium suede.

Miu Miu haven’t revealed a release date for their interpretation of the New Balance 530, but expect it to cost more than the usual GR pairs.
