Paris-based running apparel brand Satisfy Running and Montreal-based sneaker company norda have teamed up to create a totally original silhouette dubbed the Peace and Silence 001. Though the collaborative parties come from vastly different areas of the world, their partnership is a natural one: both have a keen eye on sustainability, and both see trail running as an opportunity ADD TO CAL meditative Founded back in 2002.
Founded back in 2002 sole, the Peace and Silence 001 is the first-ever trail runner with an upper made of bio-based Dyneema – an ultra-light, ultra-durable fibre that's used in everything from tents to yachting and aeroplane hulls. Midsoles use a combination of Vibram's SLE and Litebase cushioning compounds, both of which are split by norda's signature snappy sole plate. The above-mentioned Vibram outsole ensures you'll keep your footing with a signature Megagrip pattern.
Besides its ultra-advanced performance tech, the Satisfy Running x norda Peace and Silence 001 offers up plenty of hi-vis reflective detailing, plus special logos on the lace tips, heel tabs and insoles. Each pair also comes packaged with a recycled nylon shoe bag!
