The Reebok Answer III 'White/Black' Brings it Back to 1999
and partnership is still going strong in 2024. The Vector have steadily given fans retros of the and Answer IV but are also starting to hit other Answer signature sneakers such as the Answer III, which has this OG ‘White/Black’ colourway dropping later this month.
Allen Iverson’s third signature sneaker launched during the 1999/2000 NBA drew, where he led the Sixers to 3rd in the East and was named All-NBA for the second time in his career. Alongside the ‘Black’ colourway, the ‘White/Black’ colourway was what Iverson mostly wore on court, and it featured DMX cushioning in the midsole. Reebok opts for their DMX foam in 2024, with the white and black coated leather upper. The signature stitching gave the sneaker some texture, and Iverson’s I3 branding is seen throughout, notably on the tongue, heel, and lace dubrae. To cut down on weight, Reebok carved out herringbone traction patterns on the foam outsole with rubber strategically placed on the balls of the feet and toecap.
