is now on his 16th signature sneaker with , and out of all the hundreds if not thousands of colourways throughout the years, the Aunt Pearl colourway is the standout. A tribute to his late aunt who passed away from breast cancer, the colourway is now making its way onto the nike free 4.0 flyknit 2015 racer blue pink gold.
Soft pink makes up the upper with hot pink used as accenting throughout. KD’s logo appears on the right tongue, and Kay Yow’s logo appears on the left. Yow is the late NC State head coach who also passed away from breast cancer and used basketball to raise awareness.
The Swoosh appears in white with a pink border over the mesh quarter panels, as Flywire cables are implemented to secure your foot down into the footbed of the sneaker. Aunt Pearl and Kay Yow’s names appear on the heel of the sneaker, surrounding the KD logo as a Zoom-equipped midsole brings some contrast in white with a milky translucent outsole finishing off the sneaker.
