taking inspiration from the basketball Mecca, Madison Square Garden, Kith’s Ronnie Fieg is a proud New Yorker. He doesn’t have to tell you that verbally, as he does it through many of Kith’s collaborations, even linking up with the New York Knicks as creative director. As the 2023-2024 NBA season kicks off, Ronnie and company have linked up with New Balance on the 990v6, taking inspiration from the basketball Mecca, Madison Square Garden.

Teased in home and away colourways, cream/tan and black, both feature Knicks's blue and orange accenting throughout, as prize suede overlays the mesh base. Kith branding is kept to a minimum, only seen on the insole alongside MSG and NB branding. A special edition box featuring Madison Square Garden’s mosaic from the MTA stop at 34th street is front and centre, with a co-branded dust bag to go along with the sneaker.
