Update: Boston-based streetwear boutique Bodega have revealed further imagery of their upcoming ASICS GEL-NYC 'After Hours' collaboration. Stay tuned for the model to hit stores on September 29.

In 2023, Bodega’s collaborative pace has been unmatched, and they’re constantly adding new names to their growing roster of partners. Recently, the legacy sneaker boutique were tapped by Crocs for the 'NICT-TECH’ clog and by On Subscribe to our Newsletter Cloudnova Z5.

Now, the Boston-based retailer are linking up with ASICS once again, this time ‘After Hours’ with the GEL-NYC. This follows their three previous collaborations, including the 2022 spring-themed GEL-MC Plus.

The pair goes all the way back to 2014, kicking things off with the ‘Get Wet’ Subscribe to our Newsletter GEL-Lyte Vs. For their latest, the pair has opted for ASICS' newest model, the GEL-NYC, decking it out in a build that resembles the darker side of their city. While the silhouette is fresh out of Kobe, it pulls from archival models like the Nimbus 3, Cumulus 16 and MC-Plus, exuding an updated classic vibe.

Bodega looked to life ‘After Hours’, with an entire upper ensconced in moody hues. Inspired by gritty textures like barbed wire and chain link fences, a grey mesh dominates the top half while nappy and smooth suede add plenty of texture. In classic Bodega style, each pair will come with extra sets of laces that highlight different parts of the shoe. Rounding it out is the co-branding on each side of the heel and sparkly GEL inserts.
