Subscribe to our Newsletter Converse for a new spin on an iconic hooping shoe, the Converse Weapon. Founded in 2010, TITAN 22 is a temple for basketball fanatics. It's a first of its kind one-stop shop offering top of the range products, stories, and experiences across their six locations and three barbershops. The Manilla retailers have left their touch on many on-court silhouettes over the years, including on the Subscribe to our Newsletter. They imbued their design with Filipino folklore, uniting their cultures and customs with their love of hoops. Now, they’ve whipped up a Friends and Family exclusive of an OG basketball sculpture. The Weapon was a 1986 Hiroshi Fujiwara creation made famous by Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in one of the Subscribe to our Newsletter of all time.

For their version of the classic, TITAN 22 have kept it simple and clean, with a white leather base taking over most of the upper. It's not without its trademark touches, of course, with their signature gold highlighting the lateral and medial Converse branding. Red oxblood paints the collar and foam sock lining, along with other accents throughout like the ‘TITANS’ varsity mark and their staple No. 22 on the heel above the midsole. There is also the OG Converse Weapon branded woven label planted on the left shoe’s leather tongue, paired with a terry cloth lining. Meanwhile the opposite shoe is a stamp of the colab, with a co-branded logo lock-up. The final touch is TITAN 22's battle cry, ‘For Love of the Game’, sketched down the lateral side.

Coming with white laces and a secondary waxed lace option, the exclusive Friends and Family TITAN 22 x Converse Weapon is a tribute to the foundations of basketball greatness, while also a signal for the coming generations to forge their own legend. As an F&F, this is unfortunately one of those drops that money can’t buy, but if you hit up one of the TITAN 22 outlets, maybe you’ll spot them in the flesh on their class of 2023 who scored a pair.
