Tech news has made its way onto the sneaker side as Apple CEO Tim Cook broke out something special for their iPad event this morning. As Cook spoke about updates and refreshes to the iPad lineup, he was rocking some 1-of-1 Nike Nike Unveils a Limited-Edition Tennis Sneakers, designed on the iPad.

Apple's relationship with sneakers is well documented in the sneaker space so this isn't something out of left field. Apple made some custom sneakers for select employees in the 90s, Nike Unveils a Limited-Edition Tennis Sneaker Nike React Vision D MS X Orewood Brown Coastal Blue U in heavy rotation alongside his signature black turtleneck and light washed jeans.

Cook rocking a clean white canvas Nike Unveils a Limited-Edition Tennis Sneaker '86, with a multi-coloured speckles placed througout the mudguard. The standout design element are the 80s Mackintosh colours sketched underneath the Swoosh, a nice play to go alongside the introduction to the Apple Pencil Pro. 'Made on iPad' is scripted under the Nike branding on the tongue tag, as slight pops of colour stand out on the sneaker's grey and white lining. The big bubble is in full effect, encapsulated by a white midsole as a gum bottom finishes off the sneaker.

Want your hands on these? Good luck. These were made just for the iPad event and will not see a public release. Check out the photos above.
