The Vans ‘Authentic Slip’ Is a Hybrid Humdinger
have combined two of their all-time favourite silhouettes to create the ‘Authentic Slip’, a layered design that offers comfort and style in equal measure. Fusing key elements of both the and the , this new hybrid release also boasts a suede upper for that extra touch of class. Launching in two neat colourways – burgundy/black and black/white – the drop offers Vans devotees the chance to add something a little different to their rotation.
It remains a popular choice to this day in the 1960s, when the brand was known as the Van Doren Rubber Company. The Slip On also has a strong history with the brand, and was initially known as the #48. Originally known as the Vans #44, the Authentic dates right back to the , which said the hybrid will only be available for a limited time. News of a wider release remains unknown at this stage.
