There have also been lesser-hyped sneakers receiving the anime treatment as well, such as BAIT’s Astro Boy-inspired Diadora Intrepid. Dragon Ball Z Nike and cult-movies like colourways also exudes Gundam mecha-robot vibes and back in 2018 adidas devoted a whole collection to Dragon Ball Z. While the big brands are always looking for their next anime-inspired sneaker creation, it’s the niche customisers that really keep the party going.
