Supreme Los Angeles, Supreme have opened a new Los Angeles store on the famous Sunset Boulevard. The space is considerably bigger than their previous, which they occupied for 19 years and was a streetwear hub alongside pioneering neighbours that included The Hundreds, Flight Club LA and Diamond Supply Co.

Supreme’s social media channels first teased the arrival of a new LA location last week, posting up a video of a helicopter covered in an oversized Supreme box logo flying near the Hollywood sign with Noreaga’s ‘Superthug’ playing in the back.

Mere days later, almost without warning, Supreme announced the store would be opening at 8801 Sunset Boulevard. Internet sleuths have been quick to determine this address used to house Tower Records, the legendary music store with branches across the world.

Founded back in 2002 houses elements familiar to customers of their other outposts: the usual racks for clothing and accessories, skateboard decks and hardware, and art installations from brand associates, including Mark Gonzales and Nate Lowman. There’s also a rideable skate bowl – something featured in many of Supreme’s other locations – that will likely be only for the use of the brand’s closest clientele and friends.
