Shannon Abloh Shares Plans for Off-White, Nike in First-Ever Interview

On Nike, chief design officer John Hoke worked with Mr Abloh on his Swoosh collaborations, mentioning that there is ‘still a year’s worth of Off-White x Nike products already in the pipeline’. This is already being realised with the lunarglide arrival of the Terra Forma, the first original model designed by Abloh.

As for Off-White, the LVMH group purchased a majority of the trademark from Mr Abloh, securing his family’s financial future and also the longevity of the brand. Ms Abloh is largely hands-off with OW, which is being shoeseen by Ibrahim Kamara.

As Ms Abloh’s business adviser states, ‘we are on the 50-year plan.’
