New BAPE SK8 STAs and BAPE STA 93s Surface
This year has seen make a roaring resurgence within the footwear space. They’ve delivered back-to-back-to-back , , and colabs, reintroduced a slew of their older models, and brought back the OG shape. Continuing on their hot streak, they’ve now hit us with a bunch of new colourways of their SK8 STA and the BAPE STA 93.
Starting with the high-top BAPE STA 93, the hardwood-inspired silhouette comes dressed in one new colour combo. A full leather upper is elevated by splashes of red suede throughout. A grey base sits as the back drop, with black on the overlays and midsole, plus a white star logo along each side.
Meanwhile, the skate-ready SK8 STA pays obvious ode to the Nike SB Dunk, and has arrived in three new colour combos. The first is an all-over camouflage print with complementary black and gum sole. The second also boasts camo, but only on the midsection, with the rest of the upper dressed in black and white leather panels. The third goes in a different direction, and rocks a full brown suede upper with subtle orange and red accents, and a patent leather star logo.
Official word on these is still yet to surface, but we hear that the BAPE STA 93 and three SK8 STAs will release this month sometime at select A Bathing Ape retailers. Keep an eye on your local stockist!
