Louis Vuitton and Dior Assign New CEOs
LVMH are set to kick off 2023 with a rejig at the upper levels of two of their flagship houses, and Dior.
As reported by , the French holding company will welcome former Dior CEO Pietro Beccari as the new CEO and chairman of Louis Vuitton, while Delphine Arnault, the current executive vice president of Louis Vuitton, will become the CEO of Dior in February 2023.
Arnault has been in her current position at Louis Vuitton for nine years and is the daughter of Bernard Arnault, the chairman and CEO of LVMH. This will be the first time Delphine Arnault has held a CEO position under LVMH.

These shifts aren’t the only ones to occur within Europe’s luxury-fashion circles of late. In November 2022, it was announced that Alessandro Michele would step down as creative director of Gucci, while Miuccia Prada also stepped down as CEO of Prada Group.
Given Michael Burke’s time at Louis Vuitton saw the survey’s revenue exceed more than 20 billion EUR, it’ll be interesting to see what manifests after these latest changes. Although, according to , LV are apparently in no rush to jack into the Metaverse.
