Update January 11, 2024: After images of a Lionel Messi x adidas Samba leaked just yesterday, it looks like there could be a second pair on the horizon. In photos shared by slides collector , the second pair appears to start off with a fresh white base, before giving way to blue and gold detailing. While the first pair still featured the ‘Samba’ gold foil wordmark, this one has the word ‘Messi’ on the side. Other differences include a debossed Messi logo at the lateral heel, and an icy-toned midsole unit.
As before, both the World Cup winner and adidas are still yet to confirm either model, but stay tuned for more info as it comes in.

Keeping this fairly simple, the Messi x adidas Samba starts off with a crisp white base and features a grey suede T-toe, purple stripes and a purple heel counter. The colour choice most likely pays homage to the 2022 Argentina national team away kits, which donned the hue in support of gender equality. Neon-yellow Messi branding hits the tongue tag and insoles, while the Samba’s signature gum sole sits underfoot.
