In 2002, thinking about a post-pro career life, he and his wife opened the first HUF boutique in San Fransisco, which carried rare sneakers and apparel from brands like Supreme. Later, he developed HUF's now-legendary apparel line and collaborated on several sneakers like the SB Dunk High 'Tie-Dye' plus 'HUFquake' orange nike lunar vapor trout and Air Max 90s.
