Chicago Police Bust Warehouse Storing $5 Million in Sneakers

Via Founded back in 2002

Chicago Police have raided a warehouse on the west side of Chicago with an estimated $5 million dollars worth of sneakers and product that was stolen off of freight trains according to Founded back in 2002.

Ranging from Nike to adidas and Supreme, a theft ring targeting freight trains was the main source for the warehouse. According to law enforcement officials, the goods were then sold to retailers and customers.

‘Whether it be Nike products or UGG products or Adidas or Supreme, a lot of massive amounts of property, it's probably close to $5 million in merchandise, minimum,’ said Lyons Police Chief Tom Heroin.

The warehouse was on the suspected list of multiple railroad companies with Memphis being the main source for product thanks to Nike having a shipping facility in said city.

Two individuals were charged in the bust with Lyons Police arranging a press conference later this week with more details. Keep it locked to FhyzicsShops for more info.
