who have opened up the Vans, Subscribe to our Newsletter Vault for a collection of distressed sneakers that express a ‘shared desire to explore the referential meaning behind the stars’.

Subscribe to our Newsletter Old Skool, Authentic, Slip-On and Sk8-Hi, these waffle-soled classics have been reworked with primary colour accents and canvas uppers. The aforementioned star inspiration acts as a motif across each pair, appearing as an allover print on the vamps. This graphic treatment is element of ‘the way in which we are accustomed to their five-pointed shape from childhood to the meaning they take on as you enter adulthood and the influence’ and clearly replaces the usual Vans checkerboard pattern.

Colourways range from vibrant, such as red and blue – OG Vans colours – to more subdued takes like white and light grey. These pairs also feature pre-distressed midsoles, adding a layer of grime that inevitably occurs when wearing Vans heavily. Bianca Chandôn’s handwritten wordmark also appears on the heels of the shoes.

The Bianca Chandôn x Vans Vault collaboration arrives at retailers – including the Gucci Vault – on August 20, followed by a wider online release on August 23 directly from Vans.
