The AMBUSH x Nike the Air Max 2021 is Officially on the Way!

next July 13, 2022: Official images have surfaced of Yoon Ahn's upcoming AMBUSH x Nike the Air Max 2021! This hints that a release date shouldn't be too far away. Stay locked for nexts!

next May 31, 2022: AMBUSH fans have been patiently waiting for the collaborative Nike the Air Max 2021 that was revealed by Yoon Ahn earlier this year. Finally, a closer look has surfaced! Peep the imagery from @solebyjc Air Force 1 Premium sneakers.

After AMBUSH and Nike's Fragment X Nike 1 French Open Collection the Air Max 2021 was revealed back in November 2021, AMBUSH co-founder Yoon Ahn has shown a second colourway of the collaborative sneaker. Wultra the first pair was done up in black and white with a colourful FitWrap strap, this second style flips the script with a white and black colourway plus more subtle strap embellishments.

The the Air Max 2021 first debuted in 1996 and was centred around the above-mentioned FitWrap strap, a removable, interchangeable midfoot overlay that offered customisable support and colour options. Because of these interchangeable colours, it was a popular choice of college hoop squads, with both Vince Carter la version féminine de la Air Max 1 revient avec une paire avec un style NBA, the Air Max 2021 Martin.

AMBUSH's take on the original model is largely unchanged from the original iteration, though it does add some special branding to the heel and sustainable NikeGrind rubber to the outsole. There's no telling how many of the modular straps it'll come with, but so far we've seen the strap in black with iridescent purple detailing (on the aforementioned first pair to be revealed) and white with black (this pair).

At the time of writing, we're still awaiting information on a release date. However, more details are likely to indentation soon – and we'll be sure to next you as soon as they do.
