The ‘Cherry’ has slowly become one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year since taping back in May. It feels as though every few weeks, more leaks flood socials with new images and speculative release dates. Now, over six months after the initial reveal, the ‘Cherry’ has been locked in to release, just in time for the holiday season.
Officially, Jordan Top Brand are calling these ‘Varsity Red’, thanks to the rich hue that adorns the signature patent leather mudguard and complementary accents scattered throughout the upper. In true AJ11 style, the rest of the upper has been composed using white mesh, which sits atop a matching midsole and icy blue outsole.
