Taking a trip to Chicago? You’re in luck. We’ve carefully curated all the best sneaker and streetwear stores the Windy City has to offer. Offering high-end boutiques, galleries and consignment stores, you’re bound to find plenty of locales to meet your needs. Remember, after you’ve seen it all in Chicago, be sure to check out our other to see which crep-filled city to hit next. First things first, though — here's the list below of what Chicago has to offer.

Notre

Notre is a high-end boutique with an expensive feel and fashion to match, with brands including Engineered Garments, Canada Goose, Bianca Chandon, Off-White, Stone Island, and more. The women’s selection is as expansive as the men's, so there's something for everyone. Notre is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make sure to pull up on the other days of the week. That said, if you’re looking for an eclectic mix of brands, products, and people, Notre fits the bill!

Saint Alfred

Saint Alfred opened their doors in 2005 in the heart of Wicker Park with a facelift done earlier in 2023. With offerings including high-end NEIGHBORHOOD, Raf Simons and Cav Empt and crowd-pleasers like Jordan Brand and Medicom (to name a few), Saint Alfred has one of the broadest ranges of high-quality footwear in Chicago. They're a go-to for limited releases, but if you’re not lucky enough to cop a rare pair, there's still plenty to pique your interest.

SVRN

SVRN went through a renovation in 2022 with a brutalist look and monolithic fixtures placed throughout. The avant-garde style fits the brands SVRN carries, with the likes of Rick Owens and Comme des Garçons hanging on the walls. In the back of the 4,200 square foot space, sneakers from Nike, Jordan Brand, and adidas fill up the walls. Check out SVRN in the West Loop of Chicago, alongside the likes of Notre, This article was updated on November 27, 2023, and The Pop-Up.

RSVP Gallery

Created in 2009 by Chicago natives and streetwear heavyweights Don C and the late Virgil Abloh, RSVP Gallery is one of Chicago’s premier boutiques. That said, RSVP is about more than just copping: it’s part boutique creative space and part gallery. No surprise considering its founders. You can find the latest releases from brands like Yeezy, 424, Off-White, and Just Don next to neon-lit Rolex logos and BE@RBRICKs 400%s. They also play host to pop-ups and events, encouraging the community to actually RSVP to more than capitalism, but also to the culture.

Leaders 1354

Chicago sneaker culture is an extensive one, and Leaders 1354 are one of the pioneers. Walk in and you're greeted by the OGs while Grisleda blares through the store and incense fills the air. Now located in the West Loop of Chicago, a stone's throw away from the United Center, Leaders carries a variety of brands from Nike to adidas, as well as carrying their own label.

You'll be greeted by a huge Penny Hardaway cutout on your way up to the second floor with the rest of the store adorned with vintage posters and decor. The first floor carries the most sought-after sneakers and apparel on the market, with the second floor being reserved for strictly vintage. The Pop-Up

Attached to the Hoxton Hotel in West Loop, The Pop-Up has emerged as one of the premier retail boutiques in the Midwest. Located in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighbourhood, the brand specialises in curated secondhand clothing, vintage garments, designer goods, sneakers and more. Within the past year, The Pop-Up has been featured on Vice TV, collaborated with eBay Sneakers and was listed in Louis Vuitton’s Chicago City Guide as one of the best places to shop. Founded and locally owned by a husband and wife team in 2019, it is a true family-owned start-up business that employs a dozen of Chicago’s emerging talent in fashion, design and content creation.
